Rainclouds

My 3 year old came in from the garden the other morning as it started to rain

"Mummy the clouds are crying again and have putted tear drops all over me"

Always makes me smile :)

Guess i should turn round and say...
"Well actually mate it's because warm air turns the water from rivers and oceans into water vapour that rises up into the air and that vapour forms clouds and when those clouds rise into the cold air the water vapour gets too heavy and falls back down to the ground...... ;)" but i don't.

I just tell him that they're sad because the suns no longer shining.....I kinda like the way he sees the world.

For Fucks Shake.....

Got chatting to an old friend online last night who over the years has gained at least 4 stone in weight. She hates being big, so after trying and failing at many diets she has now started consuming special slimming milkshakes that cost £57 for a 3 days supply...wtf !!?

Now don't get me wrong i'm not perfect, could do with losing a few pounds myself but i don't believe that is the way to do it.

She also seems to think her obesity is everyones fault but her own...Boyfriends fault for leaving her and forcing her to comfort eat, Mum & Dads fault for giving it her in her genes.......In her genes?.....Total fucking bullshit, Told her to think about concentration camps,the slavery trade and such likes ,you dont see pictures of random fatties dotted in amongst all the starving, emacipated bodies now do you?
Illness, no...Lazy fuck with no self respect, yes!......Needless to say she's not messaged me back yet.

Feeling alot better about things at the minute, Been listening to some happy hardcore tunes, make me smile, which can only be a good thing :)

On my 4th cup of tea of the day.....well i say 4th but its more like 3rd and a half!, got a bit carried away dancing round the room this morning and spilt half a cup on the floor lol, didnt bother me though...laminate floor is genius ;p

just a bit down on life at the moment i guess, i understand the logic in her wise words but its hard to make something out of nothing...i feel indifferent towards everything, find it hard to show any emotion about stuff, cant remember the last time i woke up and jumped out of bed feeling...oh whats that word again....oh yeah happy

If only the moon really was made of cheese...

I am sick and tired of going into shops and having to spend ridiculous amounts of money on food, take cheese for example, last month £1.67 this month £2.38 , but its not just cheese oh no, I actually think you'll find its sodding everything!....inflation sucks
You find yourself looking at all the supermarket offers in a bid to try and save some cash but then you spend days thinking "so wtf am i really gonna do with a glow in the dark tortoise?" :p

So i kinda got to thinking that at the rate food prices are soaring it might really work out cheaper to hire a fucking rocket and go harvest some cheese from the moon :)

ps. cup of tea count so far today = 5 ,not too bad ;)

June 7th 2008 is drawing day!

Found a new website called drawn that has chosen today as there first ever annual drawing day....that kinda makes up for yesterdays dissapointments , lol

Had a bad day yesterday, you know one of those days where everything just completely does your head in......

1)Morning school run, got halfway there then had to come all the way back for my sons lunchbox and ended up being late for school

2)Had to cancel plans i had due to feeling crappy with a bad cough and cold

3)Went to the shops and decided that the cheesy music they insist on playing actually holds a subliminal message that turns shoppers into fucking retards, makes them walk slower than a tortoise, manages to erase all traces of any manners they once had and convinces them that a narrow supermarket aisle is a fantastic place to stop for a chat..

4)Got home again and spent the afternoon clearing up a box of rice krispies that my 3 year old helped himself to from the cupboard.He kinda thought indoor snow was a really good idea....he was wrong!

5)Shouted at a 9 year old boy about the importance of sharing his haribo....now that may sound a little harsh but kids and grown ups love them so ;)

6)My cold has blocked all my senses of taste and smell so even my beloved cup of tea tastes like cardboard, not that i know what cardboard tastes like but i'm guessing it would be rather bland :)

Welcome to the world of tea :)

I am a stay at home mum with far too much time on my hands so i spend the day consuming vast amounts of tea :) I am a tea fiend!
During the hours that i'm not drinking tea (which isnt many tbf!) i actually find that life can be most busy and sometimes most strange :)

Tea fiend though isnt the only title i credit myself with! lol, i'm also quite an accomplished chef, cleaning lady, landscape gardener, home shopper, child minder, accountant and i certainly wouldnt feel out of place working in a chinese laundry!

I am overworked and underpaid and usually high on caffiene...nice to meet you :)
